DIAZOTIZATION & HYDROLYSIS

We have a dedicated plant for diazotization with nitrosyl sulfuric acid followed by hydrolysis (i.e. –NH2 to –OH group). Our facilities can carry out hydrolysis in sulfuric acid up to a temperature of 180°C, with recycling of the sulfuric acid. We also have the facilities to do subsequent replacement reactions (Sandmeyer reactions) after diazotization.

OXIDATION


Chemical oxidations with potassium permanganate, and chromic acid. 2.Air oxidations.

CYCLIZATION


With urea.2.With acetic anhydride.3.With carbon disulphide (CS2).

CHLOROSULFONATION


We can carry out chlorosulfonation with chlorosulfuric acid.

CYANATION


Side chain cyanations. 2.Ring cyanations (via Sandmeyer reactions).

AMIDATION


With ammonia (–SO2Cl to –SO2NH2). 2.With ammonia (–COCl to –CONH2).3.With aliphatic amines.

ALKYLATION


.With acetic anhydride, acetic acid, and formic acid. 2.With acetyl chloride, and chloroacetyl chloride. 3.With dimethyl sulphate, and diethyl sulphate. 4.With dimethyl carbonate. 5.With methyl bromide. 6.With ethyl bromide.

HALOGENATION


Our facilities can carry out the following halogenation reactions: 1.Ring halogenations with Cl2, Br2, SO2Cl2, SOCl2, PCl3, PCl5, and POCl3. 2.Side chain halogenations with catalysts and via photochemical reactions. 3.Halogenations with acid chlorides.

NITRATION


A constant endeavor in our manufacturing facilities is to carry out the least effluent producing and the most selective nitrations. Some of the features of our nitration processes are: 1.Low temperature nitrations. 2.With 98 % HNO3, 70 % HNO3, and 30 % HNO3. 3.With mixed acid include oleum. 4.With solvents.

AMINATION


We have high capacities for our reduction reactions (aminations). Our facilities can carry out the following aminations: 1.Iron/acid Be’champ reductions. 2.Reductions with Na2S, NaSH, and caustic/sulphur. 3.Reductions with hydrazine hydrate. 4.Hydrogenations with metal catalysts.

HYDROLYSIS

ETHERIFICATION


Etherification is the core competency of ARIL. We have worked on hundreds of different ether products, all at commercial scales.

ESTERIFICATION


We have, in our product portfolio, numerous benzene sulfonic esters and alkyl benzoates.

SULFONATION


We can carry out sulfonation reactions with sulfuric acid and oleum.
